Atlantic Ropes is a Falmouth based stockist of all kinds of ropes (fibre and wire), Rigging (architectural and boat), Mooring (buoys, chain and shackles) and Lifting Gear.

We are conveniently located in Falmouth docks within walking distance of the town.(MAP)

Our in-house testing team can also certify all kinds of lifting equipment for marine and land based applications.

With direct ties to our parent company Latch and Batchelor Ltd we can provide a quality assured service to ISO 9001: 2000 with same or next day availability on a large range of products.

Our Falmouth based machinery also means a very quick turn around on boat rigging. We have a swaging machine that is capable of fitting ends on wire rope up to 18mm Dia. Furthermore, our 300 tonne press is capable of pressing ferrules on wire rope up to 26mm diameter.

We can supply all types of rigging for all types of vessel. We can provide 316 grade stainless steel wire and fittings for modern boats, or galvanised steel wire with hand or machine spliced fittings for the more traditional boats.

We have mooring systems, complete or in component form. We stock mooring chain, swivels, shackles, buoys and ropes.

We have good stocks of braided yacht ropes and offer a full splicing service if required.

To complement our services we can also supply all types of lifting equipment and can offer an on-site lifting equipment inspection service with LOLER certification.
